Rangers International FC are on the cusp of establishing a women’s team, part of a broader plan endorsed by CEO Amobi Ezeaku and currently under strategic discussion in Cairo, Egypt. Media director Norbert Okolie confirmed "machinery is in motion to get a women’s team," adding that entry into the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) will proceed once all necessary documentation is in place.

This initiative builds on Rangers’ previous efforts with Green Foot Ladies, which supported their compliance with CAF’s requirements for Champions League participation through infrastructure and resource sharing.
